About Us

Andrea Sims, President & Founder of Lion’s Share Communications, Inc., has more than 20 years of diverse experience in public relations, major events, galas, golf tournaments and in producing television and film projects. Having grown up in southern California with a father who was an entertainment industry executive, her extensive professional connections, in many cases, grew out of her earliest personal relationships. In fact, her Godfather is Actor Russell Johnson (the professor on Gilligan’s Island) and she has fond memories of time spent at the homes of some of Hollywood’s legendary actors.

A highly visible industry presence, Andrea served as a Board Member and the former President of Women in Film and Video, an international association with over 10,000 members among 20+ chapters. During her tenure, Andrea provided exceptional leadership and vision to the organization. Her key contributions to Women in Film and Video included the following:

• Secured individual health insurance for independent filmmakers and directors as President.

She also served as a speaker by invitation on “Fundraising and Awards,” at The Women in Film and Television International Summit, Canada House, London, England.
