Frank Sinatra
and Big Band Night charity event generating $50,000 for
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Directed and
publicized a sold-out fundraising gala for Mercy Ships
netting the client $200,000 with awards presented to Larry
King, Wayne Newton, and Congressman Tony Hall (R-OH).
Produced and
publicized The First International Chili Cook-Off (Los
Angeles, CA), a successful two-day, chili cook-off event
attended by 100,000+ people; retained sponsors and
entertainers, including Dolly Parton and Kenny
Rogers.

Operation of Hope
honored global advocate Bianca Jagger with its
"Lifetime Achievement Award" and award-winning
television producer Brenda Hampton with its
"Vision Award" at its Night of Smiles Gala,
at the W Hotel in Los
Angeles-Westwood. This was held in the Blue Whiskey Bar owned by actor George Clooney.
Jagger was honored for her efforts as a global
advocate and Hampton (creator and executive
producer of the hit family series, "7th
Heaven"), was honored for her international
philanthropic efforts on behalf of children
worldwide. In addition, Operation of Hope
recognized Dr. Stephen Pauley and Dr. Martin Von
Hildebrand for his conservation efforts in
preserving the Amazon rainforests.
The special evening was hosted by Alex Quinn,
son of legendary actor Anthony Quinn and Kelli
Gates of the Mark & Brian Show on KLOS 95.5
Radio. The evening’s entertainment included a
special appearance by international Latin music
star, Susana Baca and Kevin Sasaki & The Martini
Jazz Trio.
Since 1989, the U.S.-based Operation of Hope
organization has traveled to Africa and South
America, donating needed surgeries to children
born with cleft-lips and cleft palates. This
year alone, the medical team has provided over
150 free facial reconstructive surgeries to
children in these countries. A $250.00 donation
has the ability to change a child's life
forever.
Andrea Sims produced, coordinated celebrity
appearances, and handled all media relations for
the successful fund raising event.

Bed New York and
TinyStars.org joined together for a glamorous and captivating evening benefiting Tiny Stars
and the global fight against child predators.
TinyStars.org was founded in 2000 to fight
atrocities against children worldwide. B.E.D.
(Bed) is an upscale restaurant and club located
in New York City, and has been featured in
the hit show Sex in the City regularly.
Andrea Sims
